Dr. Genter was recently called upon by ABC News to discuss the needs of men when it comes to plastic surgery. As a nationally recognized plastic surgeon in Philadelphia, Dr. Genter knows how to treat each patient on an individual basis. He knows how to properly contour a man’s body and understands that though a facelift may have a similar end result in mind, it must be conducted differently on a man as opposed to a woman. To learn more about Dr. Genter’s views on plastic surgery for men, we encourage you to watch the video below and to visit Dr. Genter’s blog.

JewishExp_Cover Philadelphia plastic surgeon Dr. Bruce Genter was featured in the March issue of the Jewish Exponent in the Mazel Tov! supplement. In the piece, Dr. Genter gave advice for individuals who are looking to undergo a cosmetic procedure before a big event. Dr. Genter has vast experience with injectable fillers to diminish the appearance of lines and wrinkles on the face. He is also a proponent of non-surgical rhinoplasty, in which Dr. Genter uses these injectable fillers to create a more aesthetically pleasing nose and facial harmony. nicole_biggest_loserThe local website phillyBurbs.com recently featured an article about our patient Nicole Michalik, who lost more than 100 lbs on season 4 of the NBC show “The Biggest Loser.” As the only Philadelphia resident to compete on the show, Nicole is enjoying her local celebrity status. “I’ve got two more minutes of fame left, and I’m milking that cow!” she says.

To resolve her excess skin problems after losing so much weight, she needed a body lift, tummy tuck, arm lift and breast augmentation. In her interview, she says that after weight loss, she had a “deflated version” of the same body. “I had those wings on the side of your boobs that kind of hang over, my arms were a mess, and I just knew that I would never feel like I completed the mission until I got that taken care of.”
